I am unsure what pie to make next

I want to make a raspberry pie
with a nice custard.

Maybe I will make one for next meeting
& bring a poem too

I am a chef not a baker really
Pies were a default when two years
ago I had mulberries in my garden - the
tree laden with wild fruit. So I made two&
I rec'd rave reviews. Pear pie is my fav.

I don't know a custard recipe! I was hoping
you or someone else did

Raspberries are expensive but I am in
Philadelphia today -on my way to NYC
& in the Reading Terminal Market they
are only 1.99$ a pack!!!
