Since artisanne mentioned somewhere,
That she and musicboy were born today,
I wish them Happy Birthday!
I guess it is a polite and fine thing to do.
Hopefully both of them will accept my good wishes and greetings,
As our time here is unpredictable, and the journey on this planet rather fleeting.
Wonder why some kindred souls have collected around this watering hole,
Maybe it is all random, maybe there’s no rhyme or reason,
And maybe they are not even kindred souls.
But undeniably this is a platform, a sounding board to express our unrestrained inner voices,
Unfortunately, mostly complains, less of joys.
Whatever it is, I still want to say --- to the denizens of the poetry forum,
Although, I know I am a first-class idiot, hardly a poet, thanks for patiently listening to me,
And being an indefinable friend!
To celebrate I ate pumpkin pancakes
Gonna watch the Halloween parade
